Sinapali, (koshal Prahari) : To celebrate India's 80th Independence Day in a vibrant and memorable way while showcasing the hidden artistic talents of school students, Radio Swara Sangam 90.8 FM is organising a school-level music and dance competition.
The event, organised by the Swara Sangam Kala Parishad, will be held on August 9 (Sunday) at 9:30 AM at the PM SHRI School campus in Sinapali.
The competition will be conducted in two categories. The Junior Category is open to students from Classes VI to VIII, while the Senior Category is for students from Classes IX to XII. Each school may nominate a maximum of two participants for each competition.
According to the organisers, the programme is not just a cultural event but also an initiative to promote patriotism, creativity, and cultural awareness among the younger generation. It aims to provide talented students from rural areas with a larger platform to showcase their artistic abilities.
The organisers have appealed to schools across the region to actively participate in the event and encourage students to display their talents through music and dance. Local educationists and community leaders have expressed hope that the initiative will inspire young performers while spreading the spirit of patriotism during the Independence Day celebrations.
